Digital Collections (Islandora)
The library currently utilizes Islandora as the public facing interface to Fedora.  The home page is https://digitalcollections.library.vanderbilt.edu .  Although many items added to Islandora are scanned internally by the Digital Imaging Lab,  items that were born digital or created else where are also included in the system.
- How to submit items to the repository?
- If you are interested in creating a collection or adding items to an existing collection,  contact LTDS by submitting an INFORM.  LTDS can then setup your account for ingestion and help get your process started.
- What projects/collections are added to the repository
- In general, a collection can be added if it is unique to Vanderbilt and/or adheres to the library collection development policy.  These are reviewed on a case by case basis.
