LTDS Nov. 4th – 10th 2018

LTDS continues to work towards reducing turn-around time for resolving issues.  Although each person in LTDS has areas that they are the go to person for,  we strive to have several people able to address most general issues.  This is one of the main reason we utilize INFORM, so that more staff members can see and address issues.

A few of the areas that LTDS worked on last week are:

 

  • Alma/Primo (Jamen, Nancy, Tao)
    • Alma fulfillment issues
    • Accounts and discussion of procedures
    • cataloging/metadata support
  • Desktop/Application support (Judy, Matt, Nancy)
    • Resolving various mac and pc changes
    • Deploying new equipment
  • Digital Collections (Nathan, Judy, Scott)
    • Continued ingesting resources
    • Testing new Islandora install
    • ETD issues
  • Web/Web applications (Jodie, Scott, Matt)
    • Adopt-a-book website going live
    • Working on purchase request form
  • Other (all):
    • Re-branding of Discover Archive
    • Coordinating new phone lines
    • working on 401 organization
